Antioch Police Department staff took part in a Tip a Cop fundraiser at Chili’s in Antioch last week. This annual Tip-a-Cop event raises money to support the Special Olympics locally and across the nation. Officers, Dispatchers, Explorers, and other Police Department employees acted as “celebrity” waiters, serving drinks, bussing tables, and doing dishes in order to earn tips. Residents are receiving a 50% discount on the Tri-Delta Transit summer youth bus pass that allows unlimited rides June 1-August 31, 2018.
