Antioch joined East Bay Regional Park District yesterday for the ribbon-cutting and grand opening of the Hazel-Atlas Mine Stairway. The new stairway expands the underground Hazel-Atlas mine tour route to provide access to new areas within the mine, including the future location of an immersive coal mine exhibit.
