Antioch High students were treated to a special presentation on Nov. 5. Antioch Police officers Kevin Tjahjadi and Kyle Smith brought their K9 partners (Kaia and Kona) to the after-school program’s Animal CARE Club. Officers Tjahjadi and Smith shared info about their careers and life with their furry work – and home – companions. Beginning Tuesday May 29, 2018, Antioch youth ages 17 and under can purchase a summer youth bus pass for only $25.00. Residents are receiving a 50% discount on the Tri-Delta Transit summer youth bus pass that allows unlimited rides June 1-August 31, 2018. Last week, San Francisco Giant Brandon Crawford and Jim Foley, EVP and president of Wells Fargo’s Pacific North region presented checks to recipients of the KNBR Step Up to the Plate for Education grants program funded by Wells Fargo at AT&T Park.
