Human trafficking – whether in the form of forced labor, sex trafficking, or other offenses – is an abhorrent abuse of power and a profoundly immoral crime that strikes at the safety, health and dignity of millions of people worldwide.

Legal Relief for Human Trafficking Victims

Learn more about the increasing diverse forms of legal relief available to victims of human trafficking to help them rebuild their lives.

Engage with survivor and local experts, service providers, and concerned community members in a discussion of human trafficking in Contra Costa County and ways you can help to combat it.

Film Screening: Dream Catcher

This documentary will take you into a hidden world of sex trafficking through the eyes of one of its survivors, Brenda Myers-Powell lay bare the hidden violence that devastates the lives of these young women, their families, and the communities where they live in Chicago.

Enhance our knowledge of the law, dynamics and impacts of human trafficking through this in-depth presentation.

Day of Community Action in Recognition of Human Trafficking Prevention & Awareness Month

Join concerned community members, local leaders, law enforcement, and community organizers for a “day of action” dedicated to fostering healthier and safer communities free from human trafficking in west Contra Costa County.
