Giving Tuesday

#GivingTuesday takes place on the first Tuesday following Thanksgiving, which coincides with the time of year when many donors give to worthy causes. The Tuesday after Black Friday and Cyber Monday — has become an international day of giving and an opportunity to support your community.

This year for Giving Tuesday, we had members of our SWAT team, Investigations Bureau, and Dispatchers at Target (5769 Lone Tree Way, Antioch) from 1:00-3:00 pm filling up our Rescue Vehicle with new, unwrapped gifts for those less fortunate this holiday season. A big “Thank You” to our community for being so giving. The Rescue vehicle was packed with toys that will be donated to children in our community. We will be at Target from 1:00-3:00 pm, on November 27.

We are still accepting donations at our Police Department through most of December as well!

Holiday Drive

The holidays can be tough, especially when you are barely getting by, or struggling to make ends meet. In an effort to ease part of that burden, the Antioch Police Department is happy to announce its fifth Annual Holiday Food Give-Away. As in the previous years, we will be providing a bag with all of the fixings for a Holiday Meal. Bags are limited for the first 100 requests (must meet eligibility requirements). Please see the attached flyer for more information.

Your request MUST be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on 12/14/18 and confirmations will be sent out by 12/21/18. Happy Holidays!
