About Delta Blues Festival Benefit Concert

Since its conception, the Delta Blues Festival has provided the residents of Antioch and the surrounding communities a great day of family entertainment downtown at Waldie Plaza. All of this has been done for FREE – due to the generous support of Corporate & Local Sponsors, and hard work of the volunteers. Festival organizers are determined to continue the tradition of the DBF and to keep it free to the public.

In 2010, the festival realized that it needed a creative way to raise money for the fall event, so El Campanil Theatre stepped up to the plate and presented the first Delta Blues Benefit Concert.  This concert is an indoor, reserved-seat event.  100% of the profits were put toward the fall festival.  It has had great acceptance and great attendance. Since then, many of you have asked for more and we’ve made it an annual event.

This has proven to be a show that should NOT TO BE MISSED! Just ask those who have attended the past shows. The encore is worth the price of admission alone!

The DBF Benefit Concert takes place in El Campanil Theatre and is a three-hour event.  Theater-goers are treated to an amazing night of blues, with a community-focused vibe.

Proceeds of the event support a community musical grant that is offered each year, along with scholarships to local students.  The DBF Benefit Concert, and provides one with that feel-good-and-blusy feeling that they just saw a great night of entertainment, while supporting music programs in their community.

What better way to help support kids & music in your home town, than by attending a great, local evening of blues music, in your home town!
