Mine Open House

Take a free, self-guided, underground, mine tour of the historic Hazel-Atlas sand mine, for ages 7 and up only. All ages are invited to enjoy craft activities and the underground Greathouse Visitor Center. Temperatures stay in the 50’s in the mine, year-round, so it’s a great place to go on a hot day.
$5/vehicle parking (cash only). Carpooling encouraged.
