Drug Enforcement Administration Take Back

On April 27th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Antioch Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public its 17th opportunity in 9 years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your pills for disposal to the Antioch Police Department at: 300 L Street, Antioch, CA. (The DEA cannot accept liquids, needles or sharps; only pills or patches). The service is free and anonymous – no questions asked.

Below is a great video by Antioch’s Deer Valley High School’s media “DVTV” Group 5 to create a PSA video for their senior project sharing information about how our wastewater resource recovery Special District protects the environment and public health. We encourage you to dispose of chemical waste properly and this includes prescription drugs and over the counter drugs.
