Dozier-Libbey Medical High School Ranked Top 700 Schools in the Nation

This week, it was announced that Dozier-Libbey Medical High School received another silver award for the top ranked schools in the nation.

Out of over 20,000 United States public schools, Dozier-Libbey is ranked 1,474 and is a silver medal winner for the United States. The school is ranked 276 out of the TOP 700 schools in the nation according to the U.S. News and World Report.

Last week, Dozier-Libbey received an award for being one of the top 52 schools in the Bay Area for Latino/Latina (Latinx) achievement in English. This award is displayed in the display case in the front office. I have been waiting for the release from U.S. News and World Report and it came this morning.

Overview

Dozier-Libbey Medical High is ranked 276th within California. Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement® course work and exams. The AP® participation rate at Dozier-Libbey Medical High is 58 percent. The student body makeup is 38 percent male and 62 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 83 percent. Dozier-Libbey Medical High is 1 of 6 high schools in the Antioch Unified School District.

2018 Rankings

Dozier-Libbey Medical High is ranked #1484 in the National Rankings and earned a silver medal. Schools are ranked based on their performance on state-required tests and how well they prepare students for college. Read more about how schools are ranked.
