The Community Development Department is currently underway with the development of a Habitat Conservation Plan / Natural Community Conservation Plan (HCP/NCCP). An HCP is a function of the federal and State Endangered Species Acts and serves to provide comprehensive planning and permitting for the area. Grant Funded Projects The City has completed the installation of a brand new flashing crosswalk in front of Antioch Middle School. This installation is part of a larger grant project to update the school crossing signs and markings to increase safety around the school. Antioch will be getting a new Infinity car dealership! The owner of the Antioch Auto Center also announced that the Antioch Toyota and Nissan dealerships will be expanded. The Council approved Owner Participation Agreement was the catalyst to getting this expansion moving.
