Workplace Safety Workshop

There is nothing more important to successful wastewater collection work than the safety, health, and welfare of its workforce. Wastewater professionals are often affected by day-to-day risks and concerns associated with distracted motorists, vector issues, and heavy equipment ergonomics. Sometimes, these safety challenges are nonroutine, like what many sewer workers experienced during the recent system-wide power shut-downs and extended regional power outages.
These topics, and more, will be discussed with industry experts this one day training workshop. Please join us as we present information, review applicable tools and equipment, and explore policies and procedures for safety in the workplace.
