Rivertown Brews and BBQ Cook-Off

Sign up today to enter the amateur cook-off at the 1st Annual Downtown Rivertown Brews and BBQ Cook-Off. This event will be on Saturday, September 23rd, on 3rd & G Streets (Antioch’s Historic Downtown).

Amateur BBQ Cook-Off competition runs 6am to 3pm. To enter there is a $50 entry fee for BBQ teams or individuals. This year only Chicken and Ribs will be judged. You will be cooking for judging only and no BBQ will be sold to the public. Limited to only 25 entries the deadline to enter is September 16th at 5:00 p.m. BBQ registration forms are available at Jim Lanter’s State Farm Insurance at 314 G Street, Antioch (925)757-7941 or contact Joy Motts at (925)813-0036 or you can download the forms here.

Enjoy an afternoon over looking the San Joaquin River with the Craft Beer Crawl while you visit 10 local Rivertown Merchants pouring beer from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 before September 13th, or $20 after that date. There food vendors, prizes and live entertainment by The Love Handles.
