Janice Maxie Reid & Tony Lindsay: Back Together Again

Back by popular demand, the “Queen of the Keyboards” Janice Maxie Reid joins forces with Grammy award-winning vocalist Tony Lindsay for an unforgettable afternoon of jazz, soul, and R&B from throughout the decades. Don’t miss these two incredible artists at the top of their game!


JANICE MAXIE REID: Conservatory-trained, jazz and gospel inspired, this stunning and talented powerhouse hails from Oakland California. Janice began playing at the piano at age four, singing at age nine and performing at the professional level with bands at the age of thirteen. She impressively shifts through all genres from classical to spirituals, blues to gospel and funk to jazz. Having toured and performed throughout the world, she has performed for thousands on both large and small venues either as a solo artist or sharing the stage with musical giants including Sting, Kenny G, Mary Wilson of the Supremes, Earl Klugh, Will Downing, George Duke and Narada Michael Walden. She also performed solo piano at Clint Eastwood’s Annual Golf Tournament and most recently performed the U.S. National Anthem at the Oakland Coliseum for an Oakland Athletics Major League Baseball game. www.janicemaxiereid.com

TONY LINDSAY: As the lead vocalist for Santana for 25 years, and also the leader of the popular San Francisco Bay Area R&B/Jazz/dance group Spangalang, and The Soul Soldiers, internationally-known Tony Lindsay has garnered 11 Grammy Awards, travelled on several world tours, and recorded on several of Santana’s CD’s. Along with performing and recording with several other Grammy award-winners, Tony has recorded 4 solo CDs of his own: Different Moods, The Message is Love, the self-titled Tony Lindsay, and Memoirs.
