HALO 13th Charity Annual Golf Tournament

Homeless Animals Lifeline Organization (H.A.L.O.) is happy to announce our 13th Annual Golf Tournament & Dinner to be held on October 11, 2019 at Lone Tree Golf Course and Event Center in Antioch, CA. We are reaching local golfers, supporters, businesses that would like to promote themselves either as a sponsor or donor.

H.A.L.O., founded in 2001 and serves the eastern side of Contra Costa County, is a non-profit organization run by all volunteers, and has no paid staff. All dogs and cats are lovingly cared for in our fosters’ homes. H.A.L.O. leads the way as one of the oldest and the most successful all breed cat and dog rescue on the eastern side of Contra Costa County and to date has placed over 10,000 dogs and cats into loving homes. Money raised from this event helps H.A.L.O. to continue to care for these animals and the expense for their care as well as help fund some of our other programs such as our Angel Ears Dog Therapy Program, Little Troopers Fund and Feral Cat Program. Angel Ears teams work with children at local libraries to help raise reading scores as well as visiting nursing homes to help raise the spirits of patients in these settings. Our Little Troopers Fund is set aside for special needs animals requiring treatment or surgery necessary for that animal to lead a full happy, healthy life. We also work to assit with the feral cat issues in Contra Costa County. We work to help educates the public about the benefits of trap-neuter-release (TNR); provides traps; offers information about spaying, neutering, and monitoring of feral cat populations; and educates the community about responsible pet ownership and alternatives to pet abandonment.

100% of the profits will go directly to H.A.L.O. and help support our on going programs.

FORMAT: Scramble – each player tees off on the hole. The best of the tees shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shot from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed. Rules provided at Registration.
PRIZES: Prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.
MULLIGANS: May be purchased at registration. They cannot be used on the green. They are not eligible for any of the Hole-in-One, longest drive or closest to the pin contests.

Buffet Menu: Grilled Tri-Tip, Barbecued Chicken Breasts, Creamy Roasted Corn, Baked Beans with Pork, Fresh Garlic Bread, Potato Salad, Cookies, Brownies and Lemon Bars. No Host bar.

Donors
Another way you can promote your business is by becoming a donor. We are also looking for individuals, local businesses, retail stores and restaurants, etc., to donate items for our raffle and silent auction.

All Sponsors and Donors will also have their company name included in the tournament poster that will be displayed at registration and at the awards dinner. They will be acknowledged in H.A.L.O.’S quarterly publication (distribution of 4400+) and on the facebook. Sponsors and Donors will also have the option to include marketing/promotional materials into our goodie bags that will be given to each player and to be placed on our display table at our awards dinner.
