The Foodie Crew – Food Truck Thursdays

Food Truck Thursdays, put together by The Foodie Crew, is held at the Antioch Community Center every Thursday! The Foodie Crew’s line-up varies every Thursday and this week, September 14th, there will kabobs, Jamaican dishes, classic Mexican tacos and burritos, steam buns, gyros, beer and dessert!
This is a food truck market that will take place every Thursday night from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. through the end of October. This event is sponsored in part by the City of Antioch Recreation Department and is presented by The Foodie Crew. Please come out and support this event.
Food Truck Line-up:
- Street Steam Bunz
- Delicious steam buns with either beef, pork, duck and chicken, topped with pickled onion, fresh cucumber, and scallions.They also offer rice bowls with various protein and toppings.
- Canasta Kitchen
- Canasta Kitchen offers a variety of delicous Mexican dishes such as burritos, tacos, quesadillas, flautas, and much more!
- Scotch Bonnet
- Scotch Bonnet offers a wide range of popular, traditional and exclusive Jamaican cuisine dishes that is sure to make you want to run to your kitchen to replicate.
- Grab & Go Kabob
- Grab & Go Kabob serves authentic Mediterranean/Middle Eastern meals using homemade recipes handed down through generations.
- Lucky 13 Beer Truck
- After all the delicious food at this event, Lucky 13 Beer Truck can help you wash it down with their full service bar on wheels equipped with craft beers and wine from their 16 tapped Beer Truck.
- Kiane’s Shaved Ice
- Shaved ice, snow cones, Italian ice, and a whole host of other delicious frozen treats are all based on one core principle: when people are hot, the only thing that can quench their thirst needs to be ice-cold. All these refreshments have minor differences – snow cones often use coarser crushed ice, Italian ice is flavored before it is frozen, shaved ice is usually incredibly fine, etc. – but they all share a common ingredient: ice.
