Antioch Police Neighborhood Cleanup

86th installment of WE CARE got Helping Hands from JCPenny

The 86th installment of WE CARE got helping hands from JCPenney. J Carro, Store Manager of Slatten Ranch JCPenney brought his team members to participate at Antioch Police Department’s “We Care” community cleanup. We would like to thank J and JCPenney team members for helping us make a difference in our community.

The cleanup happens monthly on the 1st Saturday of every month, a different area is selected every month. This on-going event would not be possible without the help of our volunteers.

  • Antioch Police Department, Crime Prevention Commission
  • Neighborhood Watch Program
  • Volunteers in Police Service
  • Public Works Department
  • Community Volunteers
  • Council members
  • City staff
  • Students community
  • Local businesses

We’ve had kids as young as 2 years old having a great time picking up little pieces of trash so children are always welcome.

Collectively, β€œWe”, everyone who works and lives in the City Antioch, can make a difference and improve the quality of life. It’s our community and it’s our chance to make a difference. The City of Antioch Neighborhood Cleanup program is not just for residential neighborhoods. It is a program that will change venues on a monthly basis and it will include business and commercial areas as well. Neighborhoods that are free of trash and refuse are inviting, and a clean community instills a sense of community pride.

The next cleanup will be on Saturday January 6th. For the location of the event, check back as we will have it on our events calendar or follow the Antioch Police Departments Facebook page.Β We hope to see you at the next cleanup event.
